We are thrilled to launch Pingzo 2.0, a major leap forward for infrastructure observability, network service monitoring, and real user experience telemetry. This release introduces 6 enterprise-grade capabilities built from the ground up with zero infrastructure bloat and application-level AES-256 encryption.

🌟 What's New in Pingzo 2.0:

1. 🔌 Dedicated Port & Network Service Monitoring (TCP & UDP):

   • Go beyond HTTP/S! Monitor background databases and microservice ports including PostgreSQL (5432), MySQL (3306), Redis (6379), SSH (22), and SMTP (587).
   • Protocol-Aware UDP Engine: Eliminates false positives by sending native DNS root lookup datagrams for Port 53 and NTP client packets for Port 123.
   • Includes smart backoff circuit breakers to protect host IP reputation.

2. 🔍 Keyword & HTML Content Assertions:

   • Validate that critical keywords are either present or absent in your webpage HTML.
   • Catches silent crashes where a server returns a 200 OK HTTP status code but renders a blank white screen, database connection error, or maintenance notice.

3. 🔗 Third-Party Dependency & Cloud Service Tracker:

   • Track upstream cloud vendors your application depends on (including Stripe, OpenAI, AWS, Cloudflare, GitHub, Vercel, Supabase, and Neon).
   • Supports Custom Statuspage URLs with automated JSON health probing and HTTP fallback.

4. ⚡ Real User Monitoring (RUM) & Mandatory Domain Ownership Verification:

   • Collect real visitor Google Core Web Vitals (LCP, TTFB, CLS, INP) directly from actual browser sessions with an ultra-lightweight (<2KB), privacy-first script.
   • Mandatory Ownership Verification: Secure 3-way domain verification (Script Tag, HTML Meta Tag, or DNS TXT) ensures only authorized domain owners can collect telemetry.

5. 🛡️ Domain & IP Blacklist / RBL Scanner:

   • Daily 24-hour scans against major anti-spam DNSBL databases (Spamhaus DQS, SpamCop, Barracuda, SORBS) and Google Safe Browsing.
   • Protects your domain reputation, email deliverability, and search rankings with instant alerts if a listing is detected.

6. ☁️ Encrypted Cloud Auto-Sync & Offload (Google Drive / Dropbox / S3):

   • Automatically stream nightly CSV performance datasets and SLA audit summaries directly to your personal Google Drive, Dropbox, or AWS S3 / Cloudflare R2 bucket.
   • Zero Plaintext Credentials: All OAuth tokens and API secrets are protected with application-level AES-256-GCM encryption before database storage.

7. 🛡️ Public Probe Documentation & Network Admin Opt-Out (/probe):

   • Network administrators inspecting server logs can visit https://pingzoapp.com/probe to view official probe IP ranges, user-agent documentation, reverse DNS records, or 1-click self-service opt-out.

We are thrilled to officially release Heartbeat & Cron Monitoring along with advanced developer integrations! You can now monitor background cron jobs, task queues, backups, and daemon scripts with production-grade reliability.

What is New:

• Official Node.js SDK: Easily send heartbeats from your Node.js apps using our new client library @pingzoapp/sdk. Learn more in the Monitors Documentation.
• Custom Application Error Reporting: Instead of waiting for a monitor to become overdue, you can now trigger downtime alerts instantly by passing query parameters (e.g. ?status=fail&error=YourErrorMessage) directly to your secret ping endpoint.
• Built-in Rate Limiting protection: Prevents performance overhead and false alarms with a 30-second rate-limiting window (returning HTTP 429) for success pings.
• Polished Dashboard UX: The monitors table has been updated to include beautiful grace period badges, copyable secret URL panels, active latency/type tags, and precise live countdown timers.
• Resend Transactional Integrations: Production email services have been updated and fully validated for instant rate-limiting and downtime notifications!

We are excited to share a sneak peek of our upcoming developer-focused feature: Cron & Heartbeat Monitoring!

This feature allows you to monitor background scripts, backups, queues, and cron jobs that do not run on a public URL.

What is coming:

• Heartbeat (Push-Based) Checking: Instead of Pingzo pinging your URL, your servers will send a ping (heartbeat) to a secure unique endpoint.
• Overdue Alerts & Grace Periods: If a task misses its scheduled check-in window (plus a configurable grace period), Pingzo will notify you instantly on WhatsApp.
• Official Node.js SDK: Easily send heartbeats in your JavaScript code using @pingzoapp/sdk.
• Exclusive Availability: The Cron/Heartbeat monitoring will be available for Pro and Agency plans.

We are excited to announce native support for Discord Webhook Alerts inside Pingzoapp!

You can now route down/up incidents and SSL expiry alerts directly into your team's Discord channels.

Key Additions

• Simple Webhook Setup: Connect any Discord text channel by generating a webhook URL in Server Settings -> Integrations and pasting it into Pingzo settings.
• Test Utility: Trigger instant test alerts directly from your dashboard to verify webhook connectivity immediately.
